Yes.  An appointment is needed to ensure that all patients are given the proper medical attention.  Simply call HUNT FOOTCARE to make an appointment.

If this will be your first visit to HUNT FOOTCARE this handy guide below will prepare you for your appointment and help make the most of your time with the foot and ankle expert.

Before your visit:

  • Make a list of your symptoms and questions.
  • Make a list of all medications and any previous surgeries
  • Gather and bring important medical records and laboratory test reports from other doctors or hospitals, including x-rays, MRI’s and lab results.
  • If your problem involves walking and or exercise, bring your walking or exercise shoes with you to the appointment.

During your visit:

  • Go over your list of questions.  If you do not understand an answer, be sure to ask for further explanation.
  • Discuss your symptoms and any recent changes you may have noticed.
  • Describe any new allergies.
  • Tell us if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant.
  • Treatment options will be presented and discussed. A personalized management program will then be provided.

Generally all treatments are painless. If your condition is of a painful and sensitive nature, a local anesthetic can be administered and if necessary a prescription can be provided.

Chiropody fees are covered by most Extended Health Insurance plans offered by employers; however services are not covered by OHIP.  This is similar to services provided by other health care professionals such as Dentists. Government programs such as ODSP, First Nations and the department of veterans’ affairs (DVA) and WSIB often cover our services.

You’ll find our London office centrally located just off Oxford Street West on Wharncliffe Road North.

Our Stratford clinic is located on the north side of Huron Street with plenty of parking on the west side of the building.

Ingersoll Foot & Ankle Clinic

Our Ingersoll chiropody and podiatric clinic has plenty of parking, and is located at the junction of Thames Street South and Canterbury/Anne Street.
